ID4Africa 2024 : the Cameroonian delegation is present. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) opens today in South Africa. The President of the Electoral Council, the General Manager of the National Civil Status Registration Office (BUNEC) and the Secretary General at the Ministry of Decentralization and Local Development are at the head of the Cameroonian delegation to the Annual General Assembly of ID4Africa 2024 which opens this Tuesday, May 21 in Cape Town, South Africa. This year’s conference, themed: “Digital Identity as DPI: Fostering Trust, Inclusion and Adoption”, is of particular significance as it marks the 10th anniversary of the creation of ID4Africa. The theme recognizes that digital identity is a fundamental part of a country’s identity system (IPR), but it goes further by exploring what it takes to ensure trust, inclusion and adoption across the country, the population scale. From May 21 to 24, 2024, over 2,000 experts and practitioners from almost 100 countries, including more than 50 African countries, will devote themselves to identity development. This is a unique organization with an exceptional program designed to offer an immersive and unparalleled experience in terms of identity in Africa.
